23-24 February 2024

On 23-24 February 2024, the AGMHI in partnership with Janssen South Africa Neuroscience held the 2nd African Neuroscience & Psychiatry “NAP” Summit, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The joint initiative brought together a group of esteemed international guest speakers from Botswana, South Africa, Uganda and United States who engaged the audience in medical and scientific educational discussions focused on schizophrenia and psychosis. The two-day meeting spoke to the AGMHI’s vision: to accelerate collaborative efforts in mental health in Africa and the diaspora. This agenda has been aided further through the 2nd African NAP summit by providing a platform for experts in neuroscience and psychiatry to continue identifying innovative solutions to better serve the mental health needs of all people, everywhere.

Special thanks to the NAP Scientific Committee members for curating an exceptional program.
